Terms and Conditions
Terms of Service
These Terms govern the use of https://www.fandsmarinetransport.com and the purchase of ferry tickets from F & S Marine Transport Inc. ("we", "us"). By booking you agree to these Terms and to the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Who may book
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract, or book with the consent of a parent or guardian. You must give accurate passenger details. A ticket is issued for the named passenger.
2. Fares, taxes and fees
- All fares are shown in Philippine pesos (PHP) and include value-added tax (VAT) where applicable.
- A convenience fee, and the VAT on that fee, may be added at payment depending on the payment method you choose. The amount is shown before you pay.
- Port, terminal or similar fees, where they apply, are shown during booking.
- Prices can change at any time, but the price shown when you pay is the price you are charged.
3. Discounts and identification
Discounted fares for senior citizens (RA 9994), persons with disability (RA 10754) and students, and child and infant fares, depend on valid proof. You may be asked to upload a photo of a valid ID when you book and to show the original ID at check-in. If the ID cannot be verified, we may refuse the discounted fare.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Xendit. You can pay with GCash, Maya, GrabPay, credit or debit card, online banking and over-the-counter channels where offered. We do not receive or store your card details. Your booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds.
5. E-tickets
After payment, your e-ticket is sent by SMS and email to the contact details you gave. Check that they are correct. Present the e-ticket and a valid ID at check-in.
6. Check-in and boarding
Arrive at the terminal on or before the check-in time shown on your ticket. We may refuse boarding to a passenger who arrives late, cannot show a valid ticket or ID, or does not meet safety or legal requirements. A late or missed trip is treated as a no-show under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Schedule changes and force majeure
Departures depend on weather, sea conditions and directions from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) and other authorities. We may delay, reroute or cancel a trip for safety or legal reasons. If we cancel a trip, the remedies in the Refund and Cancellation Policy apply. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, suspensions by authorities, port closures, accidents and power or network failures.
8. Cancellations, refunds and changes
Cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and travel credits are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy page. Please read it before you pay. You must tick the box confirming you accept these Terms and that policy before payment.
9. Passenger responsibilities
Passengers must follow crew instructions and applicable maritime rules, and must not carry prohibited or dangerous goods. Baggage and vehicles are carried subject to the limits and rules posted at the terminal.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it, except for liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault or negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as missed connections, accommodation or lost income.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to any right you have to complain to a government agency such as the Department of Trade and Industry or MARINA.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version published when you pay applies to your booking.
